I had a couple of days in the Lake District at the beginning of the week, imagine my surprise when my waterproofs and thermals were left in the car!

 

I actually dug out the big camera and tried to remember how to use it too

Some nice images, I do like the second image, though it does make me wonder what the view is from the bench??

The view from the bench is Ullswater itself, a phone shot from just along the shore from the bench

Thanks Jon, good to see the view from the other direction, though I have to say I prefer the view with the bench looking the other way, much more dramatic - all you needed was someone to be sat on the bench....

Thanks Phil, I often stroll through, but this is maybe only the second time the camera has been out of the bag this year, life properly gets in the way
