Swans and spot metering

Many years ago in my 35mm days i tried spot metering and failed, decided to try it again with the mini computer Olympus call a camera, ime till learning to get the best out of it but enjoying learning.

Such an elegant bird .... the last image  is the best for me .. a cracker!

.The feather  detail is a little lost in the second one  for me I'm afraid... the first  is almost a classic pose  of two  swans  beautifully exposed though  I should have liked a little  more  dark water  beneath the edge of the reflection ... but tis just an opinion.

Sorry about the above post Clicker i could not see how to quote you so i tried a @----- but that stopped me from typing, i wanted Fuji but the sensor size meant the lenses would be too heavy, m4/3 gave me a good compromise.
