Picked up an old Carl Zeiss Jena DDR - Tessar 2.8/50 yesterday so took it for a spin on the Fuji this morning.

Not brilliant but its one I don't have so fun to shoot with something different.

I'm pretty sure that's the Zeiss lens I have - not used it for donkey's yonks.

Shots 4 and 5 look great.

Cheers

Not the best CZJ lens I have, the Pancolar takes that accolade, but still fun the shoot with.

Some interesting images here BP. Will these old vintage lens work on Canon bodies?

I love number 4. Looks like the grass is saying: "everything is possible if you wanna do it".

This one is soft wide open but sharpens up once stopped down - nit in the same way a modern lens does but still usable for social media

You can get adapters but the infinity focus can be an issue with most SLR's. Mirrorless doesn't have the issue due to the thinner bodies allowing a mount be in the mix.
