At the risk of boring the pants off you regarding Liverpool, another shot at Pierhead including the  monument to Captain F J Walker  CB DSO ....A Royal Navy  hero from WW2.

I have fiddled to remove two council blokes in bright orange hi viz vests and a large ruddy dustcart !

The mono has distinctly more contrast, which was needed.  It's a nice image.  The composition isn't conventional but it does work well.

To be fair , this was just a snap to record the  statue and I  could not  afford the time to wait for them to move   on ...they seemed to be on a flippin' tea break they were being that slow !

An excellent bit of twiddling there, Mrs C - the statue looks terrific with the Three Graces standing behind. Love it!
