Bollards on Parade.

Recommended Posts

A bit tongue in cheek but the scene appealed to me when I saw it in Skipton.

At first I didn't get it, but then the penny dropped! Very well seen, John.

I guess you've got to have been there (on parade that is).

Locked and Loaded.  I'm looking forward to trying the focus stacking option.  I was hoping that it would allow you to take several shots with just one press of the shutter button but disappointingly, it seems you still have to take each frame individually.  Might work out well with the Remote App though.

Nicely spotted John, I've been trying to work out where abouts in Skipton this was taken, as I go there quite often as it's not far from where I live.

Thanks Rye, thanks Vanguard.

Rye, on Google maps just opposite the canal junction, you will see Victoria Street which curls around and becomes Albert Terrace.  On the first bend, opposite Spencers Café bistro, you can see a circular building.  The circular steps on the right of the image is that building.  Change to satellite view, zoom in until the street level view develops and you will see the parade ground with the bollards still on duty.  🙂

Nicely spotted, exactly the kind of scene I'd have walked obliviously past.  :35_thinking:
