Stopped by RAF Coningsby for this mornings practice, sadly the cross-wind prevent any formation flying. I only managed one half decent pic of the Lancaster before she had to land, but the Hurricane was good to see and gave us some fine entertainment.

Yes and No Rick. At this time the BBMF are practicing for the 2018 season prior to obtain the public display licence (or PDA), there are also new pilots who need to learn how to fly these wonderful aircraft. Coningsby is an active airfield and the BBMF work around the normal day-to-day flights of Euro Fighters and Tornado's. Facebook or Twitter are great tools in finding out whats going. If you are able to get there next Tuesday it is rumoured to be PDA day where the BBMF go through every display they plan for 2018 - but it will be busy and there maybe some road closers and the weather ...

I can't make next Tuesday as i am in work, I will keep an eye out for future dates if they come out.
