Thanks both....read my text and you will note that it was the dullest, wettest, greyest, grottiest day ever....I don’t believe in using flash but a white reflector would have worked...

I can return to processing mode to brighten it further..

I'd say the colour version is exposed perfectly.

You wouldn’t believe just how much work went into making this portrait usable....if you had the same weather you will know just how dark, damp and grey everything was....camera setting needed to be carefully thought out....not always easy when changing locations quickly.

I have lost far too many street shots by using Aperture Priority....I shoot in S or M mode now...
