A Man and his Suitcase

Both nice for me with a slight preference for the colour because the colour is so true.  My only thought is that you could lose the chair arm on the RHS.  Might need a slice from the bottom as well to recover the aspect ratio.

I thought Yay! a wonderful colour shot ...and then you spoil it by posting a BW version.

The colour shows so much more texture, the wood, the suitcase, his tie, it gives interest to a loverly little picture. Whilst the BW is just another bland street shot like so many others - sorry but if I can't be honest there no point in me being here.

If you'd left this with just the colour version, Rye, you wouldn't have had a single request for a mono edit.

The colour shot is just about spot on - subject, composition, processing, textures and colour all work superbly well. So........

Get a grip on yer pantalettes and stop buggerin' about wi' perfection!

I'd go even further and say I'd like to see it in sepia.

At least you didn't ask for a selective colour version. Now that could've got you in SERIOUS trouble!

I still think Rye nipped over to Paris for the day, had a few too many Pernod and lemonades and imagined he was in Darwen,

An honest opinion is what we are after surely. As Kev says, no need to apologise. :1310_thumbsup_tone1:
