Macro Frog

As the frog I spotted today didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to move I quickly swapped over to my 100mm macro. Alas the only place I could get really close up - my lens was about 20cm away - meant I got loads of sparkles from the moisture on it's back... Still it's the closest I've managed to get when photographing frogs...

Thanks Rick,I would have loved to have got a shot from the opposite direction, but there was a whole bunch of deed reeds in the way.. I was already lying flat on the floor and hanging over the boardwalk across the marsh to get this.

They do, a bit like our common lizards - which I've also managed to get some really good close-ups of - I was just about to go home when I spotted this one - just a pity about the angle I could photograph with my macro lens also meant I got all the sparkles and light.
