Dead Fly

Bored on a rainy day, so after a search around I found this very small dead fly on the window sill ( probably from last summer )

Not as good as a live one but a very detailed image.

Weary you are getting seriously good at this super-macro lark....

I want to ask you to take a look at my very recent LICHEN post.....the shapes of tiny Lichens on twigs and branches just now are incredible, as is the colour and textures...

Could I politely request that you find such a twig then put it under your macro/Micro lens please ?  You might even discover one or two tiny bugs among its florets ?

I spotted this a while back, there's 3 bugs, two are quite obvious....but in between the fly and aphid there's a really tiny bug....

That is a seriously good bit of close-up Photography Rye .......you focus for a live subject is absolutely spot on.

Nice detail Weary, but the dull tone of the eyes detracts a bit as against a live fly.
