Experimental Workflow

Recommended Posts

Just back from a half term week away in and around Scarborough where I shot every day with my Fuji then used the Wi-Fi app each night to send the files to my iPhone to edit in LR and post to social media.

Until last night I hadn't seen the results on anything other than my phone screen so it was interesting to see how the editing looked compared to using my typical raw workflow via the desktop LR on my iMac. As it turns out the workflow is pretty solid and I'm mostly happy with what I managed. The neat trick is the files were already on my Mac when I got home and all the edits I had made to the images were still 'live' so I could rework them if I wanted or just fall back on the originals once I imported them direct from the card.

These are all from the iPhone workflow with no further tweaks or fiddling - all I ave done is resize them for the forum as the mobile version outputs at 2048 for FB which is a bit big for here:
