I was close with a little crop . I was hiding away in a Hide, very close to the Birds.

I think then that the noise reduction is killing some of your detail. High ISO performance is not one of Canon's strong points, I think I would have to be pretty desperate to crank my 70D up to 6400.

I'm the same, when I go photographing birds with my Canon and Sigma 150-600 I very rarely take it above 800iso and the 800D goes all the way upto iso25600.....

Hi Guys just looked at my image of this one before I even started to process , I can see no difference, and the noise level is very low in the original anyway, but I do know what you are on about,i like the image myself and that's all that matters I guess.
