I noted a very similar Emirates aircraft posted on here the other day....this is a BOEING 777 ...one of the very best, especially if you fly ..Business Class................We will never forget our trip to Hollywood courtesey of Disney, we travelled Business Class....it made my very real fear of flying much easier to bear:

That aside.......We can tell the time by these very powerful planes as they regularly take-off or land......our house is under one or more of the approaches to Birmingham International Airport....we get so used to a plane every few minutes...... we hardly notice them:

Yesterday was a little different, this plane seemed to be particulary low and noisier than normal because of that......also... it is unusual for them to have the undercarriage down so far out......I can only imagine that it been sent around for some reason?

Taken at a fair distance with my TAMRON 70/300 lens which is getting an airing:

Next time round it may look like this.

Thanks Grounded......

Yes, I realise that......the A380 was tested for Birmingham a couple of years ago, it did a few spectacular low fly passes, I was able to get right underneath it for great shots....... It won't be long, before that too is a regular sight.

Don't like flying....but love aircraft,

I think I shot the very same plane when I was over your way yesterday, Fuji, only my shot was a bit noisy and not very we focused.

I noticed how the undercarriage was down too.
