The hill being Pendle Hill, those who followed the OADED challenge this year will be familiar with this view. It's one of my favourite places to shoot, being relatively easy to get to, though I rarely do colour shots, it's always quite bleak up here even in summer...

You have nailed it for me....Subject, perfect.....Light, spot on.....Colour and texture, on the money......Composition, perfect......a real prize winner .....one of your best this year.

I think I like it.

It certainly has a strong impact. For me the colours may be a little too bright, but then I spend a lot of time in the mono world.

P.S. Does this forum not show in the thumbnail ticker?  I only saw this one while preparing to post.

Thanks James, this is pretty close to how I saw it, the SOOC shoot was a lot duller as I'd used a -2/3rds ev, so a did play around the luminosity and lighting effects to compensate a bit. I think the forum shows in the thumbnail ticker, just not my images as I tend to link directly to the image on my website and not use the upload to forum option.
