That is a great shot. We've had nothing but rain, hail, sleet, snow and more rain for what seems like the whole month so far.

Its been grim here too though we've had a few nice mornings which has helped. I've stopped being worried about the OADED so I'm back to wanting to shoot as often as I can and not having to take pictures.

For a photo of something so stationary ... it’s  an image screaming, “ movement “  with that exposure Beepy... as you obviously intended with the title to your post . Lovely work ... again?

The clouds have a habit of coming in or out towards the coast - its half a mile behind the mill as you look at it here - so its easy to get movement coming in the direction of the camera. I saw them scudding across the sky yesterday so went up the hills specifically to get t his shot. I've done it a few times but love the effect so much I keep going back.

Great shot, presume a big stopper in action :-)

Yep - Hoya PROND1000 which took the exposure down to around d the 30 second mark.  I would have preferred a little longer but for once we had blue sky and fleeting sunshine.

Ive not done it myself, but Ive seen people use a combination of big stopper and grad or adjustable ND to achieve a longer exposure.  I used to do it by guesswork, but now have an app on my phone which gives a rough idea of exposure
