Thank you for the positive comments....

For the success of this candid I must acknowledge the sheer versatility of the 12-60 kit lens supplied with my PANASONIC GX8 camera.....it seems able to adapt extremely quickly for almost every situation..... wind it right in, plus a few turns more and it becomes a very effective, close focussing wide angle......wind it out along its zoom, you can catch everything in between.

The proof is there if you study my last few posts....from a Bird in Flight at full zoom....a close up portrait on the move.....a set of beautiful more formal portraits,  and a cropped portrait from a fair dustance. The lens also allows decent close ups verging on Macro shots.

I will admit to not taking it off camera much, since acquiring the camera, which still needs to be tested using my collection of vintage lenses.
