From a brief 90 minute wander around Chorley - Korky's Stomping Grounds - I wonder how much he recognises - didn't go futher than 1/2 mile from from the Flat Iron car park in any direction

For some folk, 90 minutes in Chorley is 85 minutes too long!

I don't recognise any of the locations, but that's a very nice set of images.

Thanks Korky, I often wonder how much of my town I would recognise from someone elses viewpoint... The last image was near the Swan with Two Necks of the church roof..

An excellent set Geoff......I honestly thought that our Korks got about more.....unless there are dark corners of Chorley where he daren’t return? ?

It would be good if you could attempt to trip me up sometime.......I could give you a personal tour of our Castle should you venture this way again....trouble is English Heritage have begun to close the Castle during winter.....so make a note for late spring next year.

They are a very clear demonstration of a photographer being a photographer all the time and not just cherry picking pretty subjects.

FUJI, I will come down to Warwick, Kev I'll come up to where you are anytime and BP ditto, my reason for photography, is as much as about meeting other photographers as it is about taking photographs...

Thanks everyone, this will be my next project... 'How well do you know your own town?' To be honest I'm always looking for new and interesting projects to stimulate my creativity. I'm not a person to lay back on my laurels and just go to random places and shot images.

I will at some point arrange to visit everyone on the forum (with the exception of our Ozzie Connection, though I'd love to do that) and photograph their home town, but I'd like to think that other forum members would do the same
