The sunny and warmish weather seemed to bring out the bugs...

A couple of shield bugs, the first was about the size of a ladybird.

Thanks FUJI, the macro lens I have was the first lens I bought for my DSLR - I did look at the L version of the same lens but was almost twice the price and at the time wasn't sure just how serious I might get into photography or macro for that matter. But I find bugs fascinating and there's always something to find. There's very few days when I go out bug hunting that don't find something new...
