I've been photographing crows and ravens where ever I find them for a while. Usually this is in the wild but today I photographed some in Bendigo where the crows' behaviour reminds me a gang of youths: noisy and conspicuous. What happened to this poor creature is anyone's guess.......my apologies to the squeamish.

Most odd.  I wonder if this is some kind of deterrent to keep other crows away? Anyway, this is a wild guess.  😃

Scenes like this were reasonably common when I were a lad.......Crows, Magpies and Rooks were often hung from wire fences as a deterrent.....I must admit that I'm pleased this old country custom has ceased.
