But I love them , spent 2 hours watching them yesterday, back and forth they were going, not always  being in a good position , but great fun watching them. Rye Meads is a great place and one of the best I think for Kingfishers, anyway  just a few  from yesterday.

Yes, some great shots there Roger - I'm also jealous - I go to Martin Mere a lot, were there are Kingfishers but I've yet to see one.

Thanks every one ,I am so lucky to have these only 45 mins from home , I now need to practice on catching them on the move , its all new to me learning about Birds in flight , but had a practice this morning and looks like I have cracked it , so here is looking forward to another visit to Rye Mead very soon.
