Yes, these are in Lancashire, Sawley is 13 miles away, Wiswell is about 7 miles from where I live...

Sawley Hall, Sawley - why buy a drafty old listed, hard to maintain building when you can build a brand new one.. this wasn't there in 2015 - I know I wandered around Sawley with my first digital camera in July 2015...

And this one in Wiswell, is so new they haven't even finished building it yet..

Just been reading all about it ( Wisley Manor) on the architect's site...  it looks fabulous..check out the back door on the site....some stunning Arts and Crafts workmanship going on there ...wonderful to see those skills are still around in places .....

Thanks Clicker, I have read about both these and driven past and photographed them on several times over the last few years during the OADED, but never posted a image. They are both literally 20 minutes drive from my house... One of the problems of the OADED challenge, is I've got so many images that I've just not posted, but Phil's #111 Modern reminded me of these two... so I went out speciffically to photograph them - again.....

Glad it's not just me then ... My biggest concern is I hardly have time to post elsewhere on the  forum ...and editing pics get so far behind ...definitely ready to drop out of OADED at the end of the year ...phew .

My thoughts exactly and one of the main reasons for stopping the OADED Challenge at the end of this year.. Last weekend I took 1000+ images I think I've posted 20 at the most and I've still got 700 that I haven't even looked at... and to be honest that's pretty much the same for the last 2 years. It's not so bad on days when I've only taken 50 odd images (ie during the week when I'm limited to getting out for an hour-ish, as I do also work full time, abliet self-employed....), I can usually look through them in one night and process the good ones.....
