PROVING ITS CAPABILITIES

These were among the first seriously thought out Street Shots using my newly acquired SONY RX 100 mk III camera......a tiny, and  insignificant, looking thing just like the hundreds of cheapo point and shoots available from Argos etc.

But no, SONY have crammed a lot of goodies under that tiny little bonnet; one browse through the specification tells you that.

At this point, I had discovered that using it at  f 2 for Street, was the way to go.

I took my time framing the first one, as I sat on a bench waiting for a bus.

 

The other, was shot...on the hoof...using the short, but useful zoom........................The guy wishing me a ...Very happy Good Morning?, had spotted me taking my first shot, so had time o react to my second.... He grinned after I called across to say that I liked the hats.

I can see you really falling in love with this camera for its lack of presence but serious performance.

It was supposed to be my .....tuck in a pocket...rainy day camera....but I find it is with me most of the time now' to the point where `I'm feeling a bit sorry for my GX7

Only just spotted this one.....

Shot 2 is just brilliant - modern man showing his boy how real man behave.

The quality you're getting from that little Sony is excellent - I can imagine how suited it is to your style of photography.
