X-T10

If I could  have afford an x-t1 I would have got one but now I have a T-10 I dont think I would gain anything by upgrading with the extra cost

If its not a problem cash wise the t2 is well good but the t-20 isnt far behind and to be honest its a bit head scratching as to why they are roughly 1/2 the price of a t2 when you compare one against the other As much as I hate to say it the T-20 should be dearer if you accept the price of a t2

Its mostly down to the build - the T1 and T2 are machined from a solid billet of mag alloy then every external control is weather sealed, both of which things add a huge chunk to the price. Add a larger viewfinder and a beefier shutter unit and the UHS-II side mounted card slot you get the rest of cost. The functionality differences, of which their are few major ones, are almost incidental.

If you regularly use very large lenses mirrorless might not be the right option

To be honest I regularly use big lenses (Sigma 150-600mm) and even on a crop sensor sometimes it's still not big enough for birding, alas anything bigger as a prime lenses I'm looking at £8k to £14k, yes you can get converters, but they tend to drop your f range by 1 to 3 stops... meaning you're into the manual focus area on the top end or less depending on the lens... I'm not knocking mirrorless in anyway, as I can see advantages in using one for specific uses, and like Kev, I do like that retro look where everything is done via dials
