Thanks Clicker, that really tested my one spot focus hand held technique with the Sigma 150-600mm at full stretch to the extreme.. I saw it as I drove past and had to make a U turn a bit further on and the switched the engine off as I rolled over the hill.. To be honest, It's probably because I know there are Hares around here - and they do tend to favour this field - that I can spot them.

No tripods... Ahh, but you didn't see the other 20 or so shots I failed to get before this one. I lterally stopped, swapped to the Sigma, turned around and switched off the engine and coasted down the hill..

Thanks Kobione, it was tricky as it was quite windy up there and there was lots of grass in the foreground...
