Glad to see there are still butterflies about, though I have been seeing a lot of Meadow Brown recently. Last few years have been bad, I have Ragwort growing - usually a magnet for Cinnabar Moths - but I've not seen any this year, nor on any other plants I've seen...

We have had  a few poor years for butterflies and moths ...they could be in trouble, ....some species are in danger I believe.

Yes, there was an article om on the BBC website about the decline in conmon buttrefly species........ a sad state of affairs...............

Butterflies used to be a frequent garden visitor, but over recent years there has been a serious decline, I photographed these Butterflies at one of my local Nature reserves.

Lovely image ,not to bad for Butterflies down this neck of the woods, where I go at Rainham Marshes, seems to be plenty, although I must say in the garden I don't see many. a few Holly blues and Admirals, cabbage white of course.

I saw loads of butterflies over in France on my recent trip but they just never kept still.
