Glad to see there are still butterflies about, though I have been seeing a lot of Meadow Brown recently. Last few years have been bad, I have Ragwort growing - usually a magnet for Cinnabar Moths - but I've not seen any this year, nor on any other plants I've seen...

We have had  a few poor years for butterflies and moths ...they could be in trouble, ....some species are in danger I believe.:shock:

Yes, there was an article om on the BBC website about the decline in conmon buttrefly species........ a sad state of affairs...............

Butterflies used to be a frequent garden visitor, but over recent years there has been a serious decline, I photographed these Butterflies at one of my local Nature reserves.

Lovely detail in this one when viewed large Jeff, very nice - obviously because it is our Winter, we're not seeing anything like this just now.
