An ALTERNATIVE LOOK ON LIFE

Yes!

This was taken from almost the same place as a shopper in Leamington-Spa last week......it just  happens t be one of my regular bus-stops, so very easy to allow subjects to simply, walk into frame.

Here the lady amused me because she was carrying a pair of wellingtons, on the hottest day of the year so far....it may even be the same lady seen in my previous shot from here?

Experimental HDR processing, with a mono version created from the same settings...I like the tones and separations of layers.

Mono for me FUJI.  I don't think the HDR treatment quite works in this one.  The pavement looks a little on the strong side and the treatment appears to have flattened the tones of more distant parts of the scene.  I like the composition.  The guy walking in the opposite direction balances the shot nicely.  Maybe some separation of the church and the woman's head would have improved the composition. The wellies are important to the shot and make me think what is going on.   The shadow of the woman also adds to the balance.  Nice shot.
