Selective Colouring

I was unsure which photograph of four I would submit for the Selective Colouring challenge. Before they disappear, never to be seen again, into some long forgotten corner of my archive, here are the shots that didn't make it.

Some folk love selective colour, some don't.  I will stay neutral.  

One thing I definitely like is that composition in the 3rd image. Good one.

Kev 3 does it for me too. I need the full colour version though. I reckon it will tell a story. David show the colour version please

I'm in the mid-field Kev, I find it a very difficult thing to do correctly in a way that it adds something to an image. More often than not it can and will spoil an otherwise good photo.

I agree with Colin ... It's a real art, in my opinion, to get selective colouring to add a dimension to an image  and can quite often spoil an image  in the attempt .

I can get along with selective colour quite well - I know it's become something of a visual cliche, but when it's done well it can be really striking.

I like shot 3 best, David - I think all the building shapes make for a great image. Good stuff!
