This is one of those photographs that'll get a shedload of favourable comments.

I just enjoy working things in Photoshop.  This one was done with a about 6 different Topaz plugins. Been meaning to do this one for a few months now.  ?

Very dramatic image ...  You really should do a before and after though Kev ... it will highlight just what one can do with photoshop skills  as well as photographic ones ... lovely stuff ..:yes

Thanks Polly.

i would struggle to do the before and after. I can never quite remember what I did.  I know I used the following Topaz plugins - adjust, restyle, detail, clean, bw effects and glow.  I just give tiny selective tweaks of these in layers until I end up with something that looks half decent.  The original file was even a jpeg.

I always think it  can inspire,  seeing just what can be done with an image  though I know there are  folks  who consider using photoshop to manipulate an image, a sin akin to  cheating  using drugs to win the yellow jersey... The Before and After Section  means that people who maybe haven't seen what can be done, can use it as a tutorial  if they want to have a try. If you do find the time to show how you did it  using screen shots   it would be a great addition to our Before and After  section Kev...:yes

Let me see what I can do.  Hey, I don't even know how to do a screen shot.

I like a natural looking image.  But if the end result looks good I am not worried about the use of software.  It's about the end result and not about how we get to the end result for me.
