Tree in a Wheat Field

Korky

Recommended Posts

One of my favourite images from my stay in Cyprus.

I photographed this tree about three years ago, but when I saw it surrounded in wheat and Spring flowers I just had to do it again.

Processed in CC with freebie textures from Joel Olives.

What a fabulous specimen of a tree Korks ...so organic in its shape and texture ...no wonder you had to photograph it again  It's one of those images that you could take in a series of seasons that will always command attention ..  I do love the texture overlays and how they give such substance to an image .... Not for every one on here I understand, it does seem a few of us though, plough  a "lone " furrow with this genre of photography .   I was always going to love this Korks ... Definitely my cuppa tea .. Super work ..

Ye Gods Korky.....

You certainly seek out, the more unusual subjects....

Your twirly, twisted, tortuous tree could have been painted by the aurally handicapped Van Gogh .......

Is the twisted look your doing, using the  fractulus? Plug-in, or does it really look like that?

you certainly have the eye of an Artist ......or........you were drunk st the time ?

Many thanks for the comments - very much appreciated.

The tree is actually like that - no alcohol involved and the only twiddles are my usual adjustments plus a couple of textures.

The image has had some excellent responses on Flickr, so I thought I'd give it an outing on TIPF.
