I too remember pairs of these prowling the countryside. Several times on the flat roads across the fens, a pair would circle and make a run toward large vehicles. The un-official rumour was that they would use trucks as 'target practice' with their gun cameras.

 With A10's at Bentwaters, Woodbridge and Alconbury they were such a familiar sight.

i can a sure you that it is true. i see it myself and a pilot i spoke to confirmed thats what they did. i've seen them fly stupidly low across the fields in the fens.
