Weekly Challenge #87 Alcohol ~ VOTING CLOSED

The honour of choosing this weeks challenge has fallen at my feet. So to celebrate my first ever challenge win week #87 is Alcohol.

The theme is open to your interpretation pictures maybe old from your archives or new and taken especially for the challenge.

Entries can be submitted from now until midnight 3rd March. Voting will then run till midnight 10th March when our next winner will be crowned.

Apologies to those that liked my earlier image that I posted here, but, I have had a change of plan. Meet Georges, my partners Father. He is in his 70's but still tends to a couple of his vineyards. Taken in January in the Beaujolais area of The Rhone.  He has lived here and looked after his vineyards all of his life. This is one of his vineyards that makes the wine.

Great topic. Thought we'd get some images of people who had consumed too much alcohol: a very common scene in Australia. Maybe not so common in the UK?

Good whisky has to start somewhere and where better than the Mash Tun at Bruichladdich Distillery, Islay.

 

Islay is a great place to visit, especially if you are a Malt Whisky lover.

Just kidding both my good lady Wife (just in case she reads this) & My Mum are from the Metropolitan Borough.

My real question is does kcbrecks need to delete one of their pictures?

When I looked at the image I posted I thought it might result in a number of questions as what the heck it was about so I thought the second one would give and explanations. Now removed.

I did  prepare another one  but you needed a magnifying glass to see any alcohol involved  ...so plumped  for an obvious  image  but grunged it  !
