IN A WORLD OF HIS OWN

This set of mixed comments has really cheered me up.......because a mixed response is what I expected, because we all perceive the world from our own little corner.

My artistic/comic, head spotted the connection between the poster and subject immediately, and that is how quick my shutter-press needed to be....

I just love the way that the man appears to have the troubles of the world....or.....shopping instructions from his missus ringing in his ears, whilst at the same time a gorgeous young lady in her designer underwear looks out on the world oozing sexy promises in the sun.

The use of posters and wall art by ....Street Photographers.....is standard.....it would be wrong to flip the poster....I would rather let the picture speak for itself.

I was following the advice of the famous....Cartier Bresson.....who advised, SEEING a picture, then waiting for subjects to walk into it.

Very nicely spotted little incident, which is what Street Photography is all about.

I spent a nice quiet half hour turning her around in PShop to see if I could make it work. With a bit if altering the angle of her eyes, it looked quite realistic, but I wont bore you with the outcome.

What the hell, I'll show you anyway.

Thanks, Fuji. I like and admire what you do, how you go about it and the results are usually humorous or thought provoking or both. Unfortunately, I'm not good at it. I'm still undecided whether you should muck about with other people's work as not everyone is as receptive as you. So thanks for not berating me!

Keep up the good work!

Onward and upward!
