Have to be brutal here, which isn't easy as you spent so long editing it, I don't feel it is up to your usual standard.
The feathering (if you'll pardon the pun) around the bird is a little too obvious, while the bird is indeed lost to the BG. IMHO.

Thanks for being so honest about this one, chums - I see what you mean.

Many years ago, when I was an engineering apprentice, I remember being most upset because I'd made a complete bugger of a job I'd been given. Harold Gibbons, the foreman welder, took me to one side and said "look, ya soft pillock, him wot never made a mistake, never made nowt". Harold was right. And that bit of wisdom has stayed with me for around fifty-two years.
