A great action shot Leon

My son used to own the earlier version of one of those.......a.......Talbot Sunbeam Ti.......he always rated it as a very special motor.........he has always worshipped his cars.

He polishes them to the Nth degree inside and out.

His current baby is an Automatic Mini, that he managed to acquire with, low mileage ....... it dazzles when it's out of the garage.

To me, always, a vehicle is a work-horse, to be well maintained, whilst doing the job it was designed and made for.....like my old and much loved VW camper......I purchased it at ten yrs old, drove it for 15......it is still going strong.

My brother-in-law has a fixation with those VW camper vans - he must have at least 4, including an early 'split windscreen' version. They're all being brought up to 'almost as new' condition, but then are used regularly - as they should be!

I'm slightly surprised that at age 10, you had enough money to buy a camper van, were allowed to drive it, and could reach the pedals...

That is one funny little car especially on two wheels! Nicely done.

Jim

in the European car world this is an iconic car Jim.... I could never afford to Insure one when I was younger... these days they are a collectors item meaning now I could not afford to buy one in good condition.
