Otter at Durham

Black Pearl

Recommended Posts

A first for me and an amazing experience for Thomas - we were walking along the river at Durham this afternoon when we spotted an otter fishing close to the shore.

I only had my 35mm lens so this isn't close up but you can see it when it surfaces...

Best in Full HD

I love the fact that Thomas says his goodbyes to be otter when he thinks he's gone !!  A Magical moment for you both to share and just emphasises how important a camera is (of any description ) when you leave the house each day .  ...so it's even more precious that you captured  this moment for posterity   Thanks for sharing that with us   There are all little milestones in Thomas' life  that he will remember ...:)

He was and is still so excited to ave seen an otter. Dylan and Ang went up though the town to call into the market for a few things for dinner tonight so didn't see them which is a real shame.

I've posted this on a local FaceBook site and someone said it was there a week ago so I'm hoping to see other pictures or video from local wildlife toggers.
