A Silly Galah.......

This is that silly baby galah that was soaking wet the other day. Caught him doing this 'silly act' on the bird table on Monday - no idea what the intention was!! Sorry about the music, but there were cooking sounds, TV sounds and doggie bone chewing sounds in the background, so just put a song over just to mask those noises, and it is a bit hazy because the window was steamed up.:

Did it eventually stop Dee and behave normally ?.. Looks very odd ,,,not like a courtship type dance to impress  a female .  It almost looks like it has an itch it needs to scratch  or it has had a heavy night on the town !

Thanks Polly & Heather - we did wonder if he was trying to dry off his feathers by rubbing in the seed in the bowl. Don't know, but we have seen him several times since and all ok
