Nice one Roger ...  They always look scruffy don't they ... the young uns... We've had quite a few robins fledge in the garden this year ... We have two who are already setting out their territory with a garden path being the dividing line ... It is comical to see how they ignore each other till one ventures across this dividing line ... Then it's like a couple of ninjas in battle ! :sword::sword:

Robins have a very short life, the stark reality is that it is unlikely to be the same Robin that visits your garden year after year. This is because mortality in their first year is incredibly high and only about one in four Robins reach their first birthday. Like many other birds they are easy prey for bl**dy cats.
