I took this yesterday at Roker, Sunderland. I was messing about with a filter and shutter speeds. Have tweaked the contrast and the saturation a bit and did a slight crop, but nothing much else.

Some lovely reflected soft lIght to lift the foreground there and emphasise the silhouette Chrissy....

Lovely light - smashing colours - a slow shutter to add blur but not too long that it removes all detail - good use of the pier and well presented.

Awwww Chrissy ... There's nowt to be scared of ..... It's a hobby for the majority of  us members on here.and   for the most part,  people are kind even if they offer constructive  criticism . Opinions of  people are as varied as  the pebbles on a beach so as long as you like what your image says to you ... that 's the most important thing ... so  let s see more of your  photos ... and take your camera  with you wherever you go and  not specifically  for a shoot ... If you have to delete most  of them that's about  normal ...well it is or me ... but  it will make you see more . I sometimes give myself a colour to  watch for  or a shape ...it's surprising how it makes you look differently at the normal goings on around you .. The one a day every day  challenge has helped a lot  in that  it's a normal thing to always take my camera  absolutely everywhere with me now after 7 months ... And Kork's  52 project helps me try and pick out one of the best  of the every day portfolio each week  to post  on his challenge ...
