Apologies Leon. I meant to comment the other day but missed the moment. It is not great when you post images obviously for some comment but get nothing in return.

I enjoyed the set with number 3 being my choice as the gravel flying into the air does capture the action. A little lift with pp would help?

Leon - I agree with Kev, it's always a pain when you go to the trouble of posting images and no bugger can be bothered to make a comment. So I've decided to comment a bit differently by doing an edit on one of the images. Hope you don't mind.

Please believe me when I say that you're selling yourself short by doing little or no PP to your images. I think these three have bags of potential, it just needs bringing out. Of course I've edited using my style and workflow and that may not suit the subject (I know nowt about this area of photography), but I think you'll agree that it has gained more impact by losing wasted space around the car and focussing more on the action.

If you want my honest opinion re these shots, I think they need work to bring out their best. And that work needs to be in your style to give them the unmistakable Leon Wall stamp.

PS - Fancy a trip to York on Saturday? I'll buy you a coffee and Phill will give you a hug!

thanks for the comments peoples. :)

Korky, after my summer holiday I intend buying a better laptop, when I do I am going to purchase lightroom and photoshop, then find someone who can teach me the bits that make me want to shove an axe through the screen. then I will have the ability to batch process images ect.... at the minute there are literally 10's of thousands of photo's that never get looked at :(

as for York I cant go dude, too much going on at the minute!

I'm glad you said that Korky, as Leon knows I have been telling him for years, which is why I didn't post as I would have only said the same again.

Leon  - my advice to you is unless you are buying an expensive laptop with dedicated graphics and a very good screen don't. You will find it more frustrating than working on a PC (or Mac), personally I find working on anything smaller than a 19" screen hard work.

You need to give some thought to this rather than end up wasting money and giving up again - a good 'working' pc will make life easier than struggling with a laptop.
