The Weekly Challenge #30 is now open for entries from now until midnight Friday 29th. Jan. Old or new images are acceptable and the theme is Shadows.

Voting will take place from Midnight 29th. Jan. to Midnight 5th. Feb.

As this is my first Challenge, let's all have a go and let your imagination run wild.

How about this! It looks like I might miss my own Weekly Challenge! We're off caravaning for next week and not sure if I'll meet the deadline. I'll probably get fired for this but I'll try my hardest!

Well, that's the what it looked until this afternoon. It was Australia Day today and as usual I was down in town to document the event. I conned a friend to pose for me. So here's my entry. "Photographer being Photographed".

My image was done with a sheet of perspex suspended over 2 chairs. Using double sided tape stick fork to underside of perspex. Cover top of perspex with baking parchment/greaseproof paper. Lay spoon on top of fork. Shine light upwards under perspex to cast the shadow of fork under the spoon. A bit of post processing and bobs ya uncle....easy and effective.
