I think the smaller figure fills what would otherwise be a large white empty space?

I posted a similar one of the figure in the left hand side of this shot from the the front of that figure.

Aha , that explains it  then ... That's a relief ... Thought I was losing there for a moment ...

 Getting the exposure for this must have presented a few  problems ...well it would have for me ... Did you under expose and use your processing skills to obtain that great result ..it's fabulous however you did it !!!

The dresses look more like velvet  to me though the headresses look like a very fine chiffon or voile...as you said Chrissy ... Fantastic lighting ,

I can  remember my kids were not too impressed with me as I figured this one out. It was a mix of finding the best exposure and then working the single raw file in Adobe acr.

I meant, try cropping the smaller figure off completely.....the train of the larger one is cut off anyway......cropping like I suggest would concentrate the eye to the important feature.

An alternstive, might be to experiment with Guassian Blur.....or to use PS to ghost the smaller figure?
