I have chosen the photograph below for the POTW simply because of the consistent quality posting of the many varied and different butterfly species by its originator.

His dedication at spending time to get the shot ( one and a half hours for this one alone ) being almost always well composed and exposed and often posted with informative text should be an inspiration to us all.

Well done JohnP - not just for this picture but for all the nature images you take.

Blimey Colin!  I can hardly believe I've won my third POTW in maybe (guessing) 7 years (maybe longer) a member of this and the original forum, thank you. I really appreciate your kind words and for choosing my photo.

  I echo all of the above John  as well...... I learn something new every time you post a pic and your catalogue of images especially of the butterflies ought to be in print as a reference book  for Lepidopterists.
