POTW - w/e 12/7/15

Sorry it's a bit early today, but it's David's birthday, so I wanted to do it while I'm still sober!

There have been some good photos this week, and I'd like to make an honorable mention to Korky's Left in the Cupboard and MattGrey's More from Mawnan. But the one I keep coming back to is A Dewy Morning Shot by Kobione. Spider webs have been done before, but it's a long time since I've seen one as good as this. The light is fantastic, it's pin sharp, and the drops of dew really make it. Do view it large, it's well worth it.

Oh WOW!!!!! What a brilliant way to start my day/week.

Here I am, just logged in and saw the potw on the home page, and then my brekky, (boiled eggs & toastie soldiers) arrives, courtesy of Hubby - what more could you ask!!

This really was a lucky catch, and a great example of having a camera that suits your purpose in your hand at that moment.

Thanks Barbara, pd and Denis. This one is going to be printed and framed and placed on a wall at our local neighbourhood house as part of a display to see what local photographers can come up with.
