A birdie selection.....

Had to go to Boort yesterday - another little rural town, with a nice lake and nice birdlife. Came home with a selection of shots:

This is a view of the lake - our nearest source of all year round water.

A couple of Cormorant species sitting up in the trees on the right:

 

Now that's a flock of Pelicans!!

Coming in to land:

They were a bit far away for this one, but I loved the "Now all look left and flap our wings together' look. It made me laugh when I saw the picture at home.
