I twiddled this with the warp tool in Ps CC - only a two minute edit, but I think overall it's much better.

 

I tweaked the levels ever so slightly too, couldn't resist - hope you don't mind.

Thanks Matt, Me too, great fun out there fishing and on the small patch of sand below the harbour wall, ---all  gone now that the French have close it all off to the public,

I that still on going?  There was lots of protests and petitions going on when I moved away three years ago.  Such a shame, as it's a great little sandy beach.  I remember when all the amusements were there too, that's all gone now too.   :-(

There was a movement that went to court under an ancient law to change the status of the beach to "Village Green" but it was not upheld by the court   earlier this year, and if it had been the French threatened to close the post
